I'm back

So sorry for the lack of posts this year so many things have happened this year. The best thing being we have 2 new addictions to our family, Scouse and Squeak our 2 Jack Russell pups who have made such a huge difference to our family. We all enjoy a walk every evening and we've had some lovely outings with them during the summer.

I can't believe it's a year since I first started working with Three Bears Yarn and what an amazing journey it's been and a dream come true for me. I have had such positive feedback about my designs and I will be sharing my ideas and more with you over the next few months.

I'm relaunching my Etsy shop this week and I'm so excited and I will have an exciting announcement on the opening day something I'm so excited about. I promise I will be blogging so much more from now on and thank you to all of you who have read my blog so far. I'm still learning and I hope to get so much better.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to you all, so sorry I haven't posted anything to my blog since last year. Despite all my plans time ran away with me and before I knew it Christmas was here. Can't believe the first week of the new year has passed already and the girls are back at school. I started back with my crochet on Boxing Day evening, I can't just sit and watch TV.  

I decided to continue with a blanket I started last year for my work room for a change. It was so nice to return to a project that's so full of colour and lovely to make. The pattern comes from the brilliant book written by Sue Pinner called Granny Squares and it always inspires me so much. I love Sues designs and I often read this book when I'm lacking motivation. I am currently working on a new Amigurumi pattern pack for Three Bears Yarn which will be available soon in their Etsy shop. Their yarn 100% cotton and is perfect for Amigurumi.

A busy few weeks

Hello again, what a busy few weeks I have had. First there was the mad rush of school uniform and then back in the school routine. Then I was asked by the amazing Three Bears Yarn to design a blanket using their lovely 100% Cotton Aran Yarn. What a pleasure it was to work with such lovely soft cotton. I decided on a C2 blanket as I knew this design would work well with this yarn. I started it with their Baby Pink yarn and I couldn't put it down. It's so soft and yet the completed blanket was so warm and snuggly. I decided on a scallop border to complete the design. The full kit for the pattern and the yarn will be available from  them soon. Now I am busy working on a lovely Aran design for them.  It has become my favourite cotton yarn and I'm looking forward to making lots more things with it xxx

My First Post

Well what a amazing few days I have had thanks to Three Bears Yarn. I followed them on Instagram and they asked me to try their yarns before their big launch on 1/10/15. Well I'm so in love with it all. It's 100% cotton and is available in 4ply, Double Knit and Aran weight. I made a few items and loved them all. Finally I tried their Double knit Chenille yarn and that was just so soft I couldn't put it down. It is the best yarn I have used in a long time. So looking forward to its launch and working with this extra special yarn.
